Champaran is indebted to thee,
O Great soul! O Gandhee!

O human form of humanity!
You were not merely a he,
But more likely to 'HE'
Or a prophet of Lord Almighty.

Champaran is indebted to thee,
O Great soul ! O Gandhee !

O loyal Indian ! O pious saint !
Thee felt the pain of Champaran peasant,
Then thee started Satyagraha Movement.
Alas ! You're no more but permanent.

Champaran is indebted to thee,
O Great soul ! O Gandhee !

O thy life is an open book.
It flowed free like a brook.
You tried to restore social piece.
Accept a tearful tribute from Rajneesh.
